In the 30's, 'SARAKO
IZARRA' included a man's chorus, a woman's chorus, a band and a group
of traditionals dancer who were all rehearsing in a room of IHARTZE
ARTEA.
A basque artist decorated the place by painting in fresco on the walls,
representing the market place of Sare with the band, the group of dancers
doing 'la danse du baton' with the mountains in the background. On another
wall, Jean Lemoine on the fronton in front of an experienced basque
public appreciating the talented and famous pelotari (a pelote basque
player).
Finally on top of the entrance the symbol of SARAKO IZARRA : the glove,
the ball ('pelote') and the star.
